Ein Flüchtlingsrettungsschiff der spanischen Hilfsorganisation Proactiva Open Arms ist nach Angaben der Helfer im Mittelmeer von der libyschen Küstenwache mehrere Stunden beschlagnahmt worden. Er sagte den Zeitungen der Funke Mediengruppe, die Bearbeitung von Asylanträgen sei komplex - rechtlich, diplomatisch und auch praktisch. Das geht aus dem Vergleich vorgelegter Zahlen sowie der Zielvereinbarung der Behörde mit dem Innenministerium hervor. Die Zahl der Asylverfahren sollte bis Ende Mai auf 79.000 schrumpfen. Rom - Nach Ärzte ohne Grenzen will auch die Organisation Sea Eye vorerst keine Einsätze zur Rettung von in Seenot geratenen Flüchtlingen im westlichen Mittelmeer mehr fahren. Grund dafür sei eine veränderte Sicherheitslage. Das teilte die Gruppe mit. Ärzte ohne Grenzen hatte gestern ebenfalls mitgeteilt, den Einsatz zu unterbrechen. Zur Begründung hieß es, die zentrale Seenotrettungsleitstelle in Rom habe vor Sicherheitsrisiken gewarnt - verbunden mit Drohungen der libyschen Küstenwache. Sie hatten sich gegen die Schiffe humanitärer Organisationen gerichtet. read more
