Several migrants have been found dead off the coast of Tunisia. The coastguard announced on Monday that it had recovered five bodies near the city of Sfax. A total of eleven migrants have been found dead at sea in the area over the past four days. Tunisian security forces have also prevented 3058 migrants from travelling to Europe by boat since Friday. The majority of them are said to come from countries in sub-Saharan Africa. On Monday alone, 633 people were prevented from travelling by boat from Tunisia to Europe. An Italian civil court has cancelled the detention of the rescue ship belonging to the German aid organisation SOS Humanity. The judge in the southern Italian city of Crotone ruled on Monday that the detention of Humanity 1 by the authorities was unlawful, as the aid organisation announced on Tuesday.
