Without guaranteeing security and equal rights, the Rohingyas who fled to Bangladesh do not want to return to Myanmar. This is documented by Oxfam's report released on Monday "I still do not feel safe to go home". The Emergency Relief and Development Organization is calling on the government in Myanmar to ensure the return of the displaced Rohingyas to safety and dignity. For this they would have to be granted the same civic rights on a permanent basis. read more

Austria's future government is planning several controversial measures in dealing with refugees. According to estimates by the Asylum Protection Center (APC), an aid organization in Belgrade, around 4,000 refugees are still living on the streets in Serbia. Illegally, in no statistics noted, deliberately ignored by the state. Your situation is particularly hopeless. Where they came from, they can not go back. Wherever they want, they will most likely not come, and where they are, they should not be able to stay. Since the closure of the Balkan route, they have been hanging in Serbia. read more
