More than 40 Pakistanis are feared to have drowned after an overcrowded boat capsized off the West African Atlantic coast while on its way to the Canary Islands. The boat departed from Mauritania on January 2 and had around 80 passengers on board, many of whom were from the Pakistani province of Punjab.
