UN, African Union Should Take Bold Action to Protect Sudanese Civilians
UN Secretary-General António Guterres has urged the UN Security Council to plan a civilian protection mission in Sudan, where escalating violence has displaced millions and put civilians at grave risk. His report highlights the urgent need for action, including increased support for local responders, investigations and an expanded arms embargo to cover the whole of Sudan.
