Geflüchtete in Italien - Flucht und Migration an den Rändern Europas – ein Ausblick auf das gemeinsame europäische Asylsystem

borderline-europe has been working on the external border in Sicily since 2009. We are often asked to give presentations on our findings from our work on the ground. We would now like to make two of these lectures, which we gave in Palermo and online in May 2024, available to other interested parties in this simple online format. Of course, it is not possible to explain all the processes involved in migration policy in detail in one lecture, but we would like to use this publication to provide at least a basic impression of the situation in Italy and Sicily in particular. Sorry, only in German...

Spotlight Italy - Cosmos Palermo

Our latest Italy magazine Streiflicht is here! In 'Kosmos Palermo', we look at the realities of life for migrants who come to Palermo, Sicily, and try to build a life in the city. In doing so, they repeatedly encounter hurdles. At the same time, there is a dense network of organizations in Palermo that try to support migrants in overcoming these challenges. Unfortunately "Spotlight Italy" is currently only available in german.
