Refugee chronicles: The long and lonely road from Sudan to France
Sudanese refugees fleeing war and violence are among the many attempting dangerous crossings from France to the UK. Trapped in a cycle of displacement, they face harsh conditions in makeshift camps near Calais, where French authorities, funded by the UK, systematically block their attempts to cross the Channel.
