2 years of War in Sudan

The conflict in Sudan, which began two years ago, has claimed tens of thousands of lives and displaced millions of people. Civilians are exposed to severe human rights violations, including murder, rape, and torture. Both warring parties block humanitarian aid and attack aid workers. The international community, particularly the EU, has done little to protect civilians so far. The joint NGO letter calls for an enhanced EU strategy to immediately end violence, provide access to humanitarian aid, and hold perpetrators accountable. It also calls for better support for human rights defenders, journalists, and refugees.
